Temperature Test of Reflector

Temperature Test of Reflector

For the use of COB, we will confirm the operating power, heat dissipation conditions, and PCB temperature to ensure the normal operation of the COB, when using the reflector, we also need to consider the operating power, heat dissipation conditions and reflector temperature. Make sure the reflectors work normally. Regarding the temperature test of the reflector, how do we operate it?

1.Reflector Drilling

Reflector Drilling

Drill a small hole with a size of about 1mm in the reflector. The position of this small hole is as close as possible to the bottom of the reflector and close to the COB.

2.Fixed Thermocouple

Fixed Thermocouple

Take out the thermocouple end of the thermometer (K-Type), pass it through the hole in the reflector, and fix it with glue so that the thermocouple wire will not move.

3.Paint

Paint

Apply white paint on the temperature measurement point of the thermocouple wire to improve the measurement accuracy.

Generally, under the condition of sealing and constant current measurement, connect the thermometer switch for measurement and record the data.

How is the temperature resistance of the Shinland reflector?

4.Thermometer

Thermometer

Shinland optical reflector is made of plasticized materials imported from Japan. It has UL_HB, V2, and UV resistance certification. It also meets the requirements of EU ROHS and REACH, and has a temperature resistance of 120 °C. In order to break through the temperature resistance of the product, and provide best choice for customers, The Shinland reflector added high temperature resistant materials and carried out experiments.
